History: The former Sacramento Solons moved to Aloha State for the 1961 season, adopting bright green and gold uniforms that pre-dated their parent club, the Kansas City Athletics, by two years. (One wonders whether A’s owner Charlie Finley got the idea for the gold vests from his PCL affiliate).
This everyday cotton twill hat features the same logo used on the Islanders jersey. We designed it with our classic Ebbets green satin underbrim, satin binding and a fit that's true to the designs of the past.
