THE HAT TED WILLIAMS WORE IN HIS BREAKOUT SEASON

History: A youngster named Ted Williams took Minneapolis by storm in 1938. Williams was a one-man wrecking crew, batting .366, bashing 43 home runs, and knocking in 114 RBIs, winning the AA's Triple Crown. Not bad, considering he started the year having to borrow $200 to get to training camp in Florida. It was in Minneapolis that Williams had the good fortune to be coached by the great Rogers Hornsby. After his one season in Minneapolis, "The Kid" went on to future glory with the Red Sox.

This is an authentic reproduction of the 1938 cap worn by the Millers, hand-sewn from genuine wool baseball cloth and finished with a felt “M” on the crown.
